I have worked at Zerbe's for 1.5 years. This place is refreshing, they care about the employees, more importantly they care about the residents. Is it perfect? No, Nothing is, but if I had to place family, I would do it here. I hope to be here for many years to come. By far the best place I have worked, we are a family.

The staff at Zerbe are so great!. They take such great care of our family member and I would highly recommend anyone to take a tour of their wonderful retirement community.

Although I cannot compare this to other facilities, I was extremely pleased with the very friendly & caring staff, care and cleanliness of the nursing rehab facility. You felt the smaller family connection with everyone. A friend that visited my husband goes to many other facilities and she said one of the best she has visited.

My grandfather recently passed away after spending 9 months in the personal care facility. Our family were very pleased with how he was treated and cared for both when he was mobile and alert and during his time on hospice. The nurses and staff were incredibly patient and caring with him and our family. The facility was always clean, quiet, and comfortable. I will be recommending to others.

Have a family member living there. He is well taken care of.

I’ve been visiting members of my family at the Zerbe Retirement Community for many, many, years now, and I can honestly say, I don’t have one complaint, or negative thing to say. My Aunt Ginny lived in a personal care “apartment” for many years, and she enjoyed it very much. Eventually, as her health declined and she needed closer care, she moved into the skilled nursing center. There she received loving care from the nursing staff. When she passed away, there were tears in the eyes of several of the people who had cared for her. That experience affected me very much and is a testament to the family atmosphere of the community. Several years ago, my mother’s Alzheimer’s disease progressed to the point where she needed constant supervision. I knew exactly where I wanted her to live, and she has been there for 4 years. It is a great comfort to my heart and soul, knowing how well she is cared for. All of her needs are met, and she is happy. She is cared for, cared about and encouraged, each and every day. This past summer, my Aunt Pat, mom’s sister, moved into the skilled nursing center, and the sisters are able to be together. It’s a beautiful thing! If you have a family member needing a personal care and/or skilled nursing environment, don’t hesitate to visit Zerbe’s. You will find very lovely and helpful people and a comfortable and homey feeling, the moment you walk in the door.

The staff here take care of the residents as if they were their own family members. They truly exemplify their mission statement by spreading the love of Christ through the excellent care they provide each and every person.

Zerbe Community is a place. It is very clean the residents are well taken care of by the staff, and as an IntelyCare agency they required the same services from me. And, we work as a team.

My mom is out here and they are taking excellent care of her. It is a very beautiful place and the people are so friendly

My Mother was a resident of the cottages for about 15 years. She loved living there. At 93 after a fall she move to the assisted living area where she lived for 2 years. The staff were all wonderful to her at Harvest View Assisted Living. She could sometimes be demanding and had no patience but everyone was always very kind and caring. The one thing she complained about most was the food. She had no problem telling the cook to stop over cooking the brocolli or "why isn't there any dark meat" . But she would also say we had fish for dinner that was better than some restaurants she had been to. Prior to the Pandemic , Harvest View did trips several times a month which my mother enjoyed. The apartments there have plenty of room and light. They have a nice game room and common area that can accomodate all the residents.

My dad has been living here for 3 years. Despite being short-staffed at times (which I think is in all retirement facilities), I feel he is receiving good care. He enjoys the daily activities. Covid has presented new challenges, and I could not be more pleased with the way the staff has handled everything. They have operated things to keep residents as safe as possible while recognizing their social and emotional needs. I do wish we could visit our loved ones. I know the restrictions are put in place by our Governor's mandates, but if all wear a mask and stay apart, I feel as though it is good practice for them to see their family. Covid-19 is probably going to be with us for a long time (if not forever like influenza). Our loved ones should not be isolated indefinitely (especially as none of us are guaranteed a tomorrow).

My mother lived in Harvest view for 2 years. The staff she had there were excellent. When we had to transfer her to the nursing home side they all tried very hard to rehabilitate her so she could go back to her apartment. When it became apparent that she was failing and was put on hospice, her old head nurse and her 2 weekday nurses came over to say goodbye and I saw tears. They really cared! I also repeatedly heard how a number of the staff had had their own family members live there. That's a true endorsement in my book.

I’ve worked at Zerbe a little over five years and I truly appreciate my co-workers and the fact we are family owned and operated. I used to work for a corporate building and it wasn’t the same. I am happy to work at Zerbe and am thankful for the team we have that work so hard to make it a great home and atmosphere for the residents.

It is a very nice place which is very clean and has an outstanding staff.
